The Power of a Matching Set

There is something magical about a matching set.

Maybe it's because it looks effortlessly put together. Maybe it's because someone else already did the hard work of coordinating the outfit. Or maybe it's because every time I wear one, I feel like I have my life together—even when I absolutely do not.

And honestly, I wish I had embraced them sooner.

For so long, I thought the purpose of clothing was to change how my body looked.

Now I think the purpose of clothing is to change how I feel.

Not because of the outfit itself.

Because of the confidence it gives me.

The older I get, the less interested I am in dressing to disappear.

I don't want clothes that make me smaller.

I want clothes that make me feel alive.

I want the bright colors.

The bold prints.

The wide-leg pants.

The statement pieces.

The matching sets.

Because fashion should be fun.

It should be expressive.

It should feel like an extension of your personality rather than a disguise.
